In January 2021, the monitoring committee was formed with the selected technical partners.

At the dissemination level, the project was disseminated in the network at European level, the continuous updating of the project partners on the activities of the EIP-AGRI was carried out, an international Focus Group was participated, through Workshops related to the project, and information of the project itself was disseminated in the European network through the publication of a page and an abstract, dedicated to it, on the EIP-AGRI network. A website was then built to give easy visibility of the contents of the project.

All partner farms have joined the SQNPI system, as well as the Cantina Sociale di Tortona, and subsequently completed the analysis that guaranteed compliance with the specification.

Data and information were collected to outline possible common objectives among the pilot companies of the Protection Consortium, and the main intervention issues were identified for the identification of a path aimed at producing a Territorial Sustainability Protocol.

At the operational level, a network of agrometeorological stations and the relative map was created, training was carried out on the functionality of the DSS and on the interpretation of the outputs, as well as the calibration parameters of the DSS models to the specificities of the territory, to at least one operator per partner farm. The prescriptive indications were therefore sent to the farms, based on the indications of the DSS, aimed at improving the sustainability performance in the vineyard.

The zonal phytosanitary bulletins were collected with relative technical indications of intervention, accompanied by the map with the position and GPS coordinates of the vineyards of the winery members involved.

A first field test was carried out with the technical partners Horta and Anadiag, whose data analyzed in an intermediate summary report were reported.

Questionnaires were distributed to understand the perception and attitudes of operators regarding the management of pesticides

According to the sampling criteria of the VIVA certification specification, the members of the Cantina di Tortona have been identified who will provide the data to comply with the certification itself.
